BIOSKETCH
Roslyn Livingstone is an occupational therapist and an honorary research fellow and doctoral student in the School of Health Sciences at University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. She is based in British Columbia, Canada, and is a clinical assistant professor at the University of British Columbia, and an Investigator at BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute.She completed her Diploma in Occupational Therapy at Queen Margaret College, Edinburgh, Scotland in 1985 and her Masters in Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University, Ontario, Canada in 2008. She has more than 30 years clinical experience working with children who have severe and complex disabilities in the areas of seating, positioning, mobility and assistive technology.She currently collaborates with international colleagues on research and education primarily related to children with non-ambulant cerebral palsy, and has more than 30 peer-reviewed publications on adaptive seating, standing, stepping and power mobility device use.
